My name in...

One of my students taught me how to write my name in korean yesterday:
데이지. It's pronounced "dei-i-ji". And i'm really surprised to learn that daisy is "margarita" in spanish (yes, same name as the drink) and "
marguerite" in french (pronnounced mar-gue-rit). And daisy (the flower) is called "hinagiku" (ひなぎく) in japanese, though the direct translation of my name in japanese is the same as in korean (deiji).

Coolies..
